Forced abortion in China – your help needed...
Posted on 10 June 2011.
China, as the whole world knows, has an abysmal record on human rights. Many of their violations gain international condemnation. However, one does not. I am talking of course about China’s draconian One Child Policy. Even Amnesty International has been complicit as they proudly vaunt abortion as a woman’s right. Where are the rights of the...

Posted on 4 April 2011.
The problems already caused by the imbalance between births of males and females in India and China and elsewhere are great, and likely to become worse. In 1994, the Indian government, worried by this, banned ante-natal tests to determine the sex of babies, and consequent selective abortion of girls, but the practice continues. It is reliably estimated...
Abortions – Fathers Testify...
Posted on 18 November 2010.
Abortion is often discussed in a way which completely marginalises or misrepresents the role of the man in the decision. More often than not you will hear that the man did not support his partner, or said he would leave if she continued with the pregnancy. Sadly such situations are very real but it is absolutely unjust to categorise all men in this...

Born at 22 weeks and 3 days: Will’s Story...
Posted on 11 February 2008.
My son, Will, was born in 1998 at 22 weeks 3 days. I understand that he is Britain’s earliest surviving baby. Will wasn’t treated for a long time because of his gestation. I held him in the delivery suite for 7 hours with no intervention as we waited for him to die. The hospital took him down to the Special Care Baby Unit at 7 hours old. But...
